The Foundation’s volunteer Board of Directors serve as the governing body as provided for in the Foundation’s bylaws and governing documents. The Board retains fiduciary control of the Foundations assets. The AKA Foundation of Central Pennsylvania, Inc. is a Pennsylvania non – profit corporation and is designated as a public charity under the Internal Revenue Code, section 501 (c)3. Contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible under sections 170, 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.
