Greetings on behalf of the AKA Foundation of Central Pennsylvania, Inc. members and thank you for visiting our website.  The Foundation was established in 2011 by dedicated women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Epsilon Sigma Omega Chapter.

The Foundation’s mission is to provide support and programs that advance and promote healthy lifestyle, educational advancement, economic empowerment, and environmental sustainability in the Greater Harrisburg community.

The Foundation’s programs include, but are not limited to, Grateful Scholars Program, It’s About You Community Health and Wellness Expo, Energy Education and Conservation Forum, Financial Expo, Money Camp, Diabetes Awareness Forum, AKA Health Village, youth development and financial literacy.  Additionally, the Foundation supports Camp Curtin YMCA Urban Garden Program, Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, Bethesda Women’s Mission, Brethren Housing Association, and the American Heart Association Capital Region.
