Mission and Purpose

The AKA Foundation of Central Pennsylvania, Inc., is the philanthropic arm of the Epsilon Sigma Omega Chapter (ESO) of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Our purpose is to provide opportunities for contributors to support ESO programs that target education, economics, health and the arts within the community based on ESO’s annually approved program plan.

The Foundation supports academic scholarships, and community service programs and activities sponsored by Epsilon Sigma Omega including youth development programs addressing  leadership and life skills development, and literacy;  workshops and  educational forums addressing health , economic,  global poverty, environmental sustainability and energy conservation concerns.

The Foundation is a public charity under the IRS Code 501 (c)3.
All contributions are tax deductible.

Foundation membership is restricted to financial members of Epsilon Sigma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
