GRATEFUL SCHOLARS PROGRAM
BE GRATEFUL AND BE GREAT
The AKA Foundation of Central Pennsylvania, Inc. established the Grateful Scholars Program in 2019. The purpose of the Program is to provide an opportunity for former scholarship recipients, family, and friends to support the educational advancement of the next generation through mentoring and financial assistance.
Whether a former scholarship recipient, a college graduate, or an advocate for higher education, we can all serve as a positive example of the supportive impact of many. Share your gratitude and help make a difference in someone’s life by making a commitment to one or all of the following:
GET INVOLVED
Mentor high school students as they prepare for college.
Serve as a Grateful Scholar Coach for first-year college students.
SUBMIT A STORY
Tell your story and help others to understand the importance of a college education and how to navigate the challenges and opportunities.
GIVE A GIFT
Your gift will provide support to students pursuing a college degree. Scholarships will be awarded to students from the community we call home—the Greater Harrisburg area.
